It’s no surprise that when you get a dog you end up with a leash that you will need to be able to find quickly to take your dog out. It may not be something that you initially think about but leashes can quickly become a tangled mess if they are not stored properly.

You could always roll up your leashes one by one and put a rubber band around them to store them but its time consuming to do it that way.

Another thing you can do is hang the leashes on a hook somewhere in your house. I have found that near the door works well since you tend to leash your dog before walking out the door so its a practical place for dog leash storage. Hanging up your leashes like this also makes it easy to differentiate between the types and sizes of leashes that you have so you can quickly grab what you need.
