One of the things that is necessary for good dog care is providing exercise. But what do you do when it’s raining out and your dog hates the rain? Don’t worry even if you live in a small space there are many indoor exercise options to keep your dog busy and content.
A lot of people get rid of exercise equipment so you could pick up a treadmill. If you train your dog they can easily run on the treadmill indoors to burn off energy.
Another option would be to work on training your dog. Training can make a dog mentally tired so they act less crazy indoors. It is also beneficial so that you can help your dog behave in a way that you prefer. For example if you train your dog to not jump on people you don’t need to be as concerned with your dog accidentally knocking someone over.
You could also play games with your dog. One of the games my dog really enjoyed was find it. What I would do is hide treats inside the house then have my dog search for the treats. Some dogs will cheat and try to watch where you hide the treats so you may want to lock them in a separate room while you are hiding the treats.
