This paracord dog tab leash was made using the single genoese knot.
Supplies Needed:
- Scissors
- Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash you will need 70 feet of each color of paracord. These cords are each folded in half when the leash is made. If you tie the knots at the top so that the same color is on the outside and inside you can use the external cord color at 70 feet and the internal color at 12 feet.
- Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
- Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
- Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working. The one I used in this video can be found at https://amzn.to/2wHkPrb. There is a smaller paracord jig also https://amzn.to/2Q7NxK2.
- Paracord Lacing Needle (Optional) – This is helpful for getting the paracord through tight spaces like in the finishing knot. https://amzn.to/2oDt4QJ
