In this video I show you how to make your own cross knot dog leash.

 

The main part of this leash was made using the cross knot. The tab was made using the cross knot.

Supplies Needed:

Scissors

Paracord

– The length depends on the length you want the leash to be. In the video I used 11 feet and 8 inches of paracord. I had 48 inches of paracord left over. The length of the leash was 12 inches.

Lighter

– To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.

Dog Leash Clip

– You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
