Are you wondering how to store dog treats? When you get a big box of milkbones what exactly do you do with the rest of the box to help them keep? The fist thing to remember is that dog treats can get stale or soggy. So make sure that wherever you store them they aren't exposed to the open air or moisture. You also want to keep them out of sunlight to help keep the treats fresh.
A really simple way to store dog treats is to keep them in glass jars. You can use small mason jars to store small amounts of treats. If you have a large box of treats that you need to store you can use a large (gallon) glass container also.
If you don't want to use glass you can always go to the store and find some screw top plastic containers to store the treats in. These can be found in the food container isle.
No matter what you decide to use to store your dog treats make sure that it's kept in an area that your dog doesn't have access to when you aren't around so they don't steal treats if they can get into the container.
