DIY Paracord Dog Leash – Solomons Slanted Path

DIY Paracord Dog Leash Solomons Slanted Path

This paracord dog leash was made using the Solomon’s slanted path knot.

Supplies Needed:

  1. Scissors
  2. Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash and a 5 inch handle you will need 87 feet of the green paracord. You will also need 105 feet of the black paracord.
  3. Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
  4. Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
  5. Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working.
