When it’s hot out it’s really tempting to leave your best friend in the car while you run inside to grab groceries or run an errand really quick. Please don’t it is extremely dangers to leave dogs in hot cars.
Temperatures raise very quickly in a car even if it’s “just” 60 degrees outside. If you end up stuck in a line or dealing with some other unforeseen event your quick errand could turn into something that takes over a half an hour and your dog could be placed in harms way.
It’s best to just take your dog home into the air conditioning and leave them in a safe place that they are familiar with. This ensures that your dog will be properly cared for if an unforeseen event occurs.
