This paracord dog tab leash was made using the west country whipping knot.
Supplies Needed:
- Scissors
- Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash you will need 52 feet of each color of paracord. These cords are each folded in half when the leash is made.
- Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
- Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
- Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working. The one I used in this video can be found at https://amzn.to/2P6uDSk. There is a smaller paracord jig also https://amzn.to/2NnPHTQ.
- Paracord Lacing Needle (Optional) – This is helpful for getting the paracord through tight spaces like in the finishing knot. https://amzn.to/2LulmBd
